Use a photo you have permission to edit, and consider whether it contains anything you do not want to include in a final design. Check the entire frame, not just the main subject: a background can contain addresses, documents or other people's faces. The preview does not inspect the image for these details, determine ownership or grant usage rights. Choosing suitable source material remains part of preparing your project, even when an editing tool handles a particular visual task.
Choose an image where the subject is easy to identify. A person standing apart from a wall, or an object photographed against a distinct surface, gives you a clearer starting point than a crowded scene with overlapping subjects. This is preparation advice, not a guarantee about the upcoming model. The final background removal provider has not been connected, so output quality, supported resolutions and processing times are not yet specified.
Keep the original and plan the destination
Before editing, keep a copy of the original photo and decide where the image will be used. A product listing, a portrait card and a wide presentation slide may need different crops. Leave enough room around the subject to make those choices later. Avoid cropping away important details before you know what your final layout needs. The local preview on this page does not change or overwrite the file on your device.
Pay attention to edges and context
When background removal becomes available, reviewing the result will be an important part of the workflow. Look closely at hair, gaps between objects, glass and other transparent areas. Consider whether a shadow belongs with the subject or with the original background. These details can affect how naturally a cutout fits into another scene. This preview cannot evaluate those areas or show how the future model will handle them.
What you can do today
You can explore the app layout, select an image and inspect its original preview. Nothing is sent for processing, and there is no payment or credit charge for selecting a file. If you want to work on another creative task now, open the image generator or describe your idea to Vose Agent. Those are separate tools with their own settings and generation costs; they are not a replacement background removal endpoint.
